Black & Veatch seeks a mid-level Engineer, Consultant, or O&M Specialist to develop and perform electrical asset assessments in water, wastewater, substations, and power facilities. You will support electrical testing, data analysis, and reporting for asset management and performance optimization.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 4+ years experience in electrical design or testing.
• Knowledge of FERC, IEEE, and NEC standards.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Mansioni

• Develop onsite inspection plans to assess electrical equipment such as transformers, MCCs, generators, and rotating mechanical equipment.
• Perform deenergized tests such as vibration and thermography.
• Provide technical support and oversight for third-party contractors performing energized assessment work.
• Review and evaluate electrical test results and prepare technical reports with repair, replacement, and maintenance recommendations.
• Safely plan and manage field-based asset inspection and performance evaluations for water, wastewater, power, and other utilities.
• Manage data storage and utilization of diverse asset information and produce professional reports.
