Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician in Waukesha, WI to support manufacturing by building wire harnesses and electrical components. You will cut, strip, and prepare wire, crimp terminals, and perform basic soldering while following electrical diagrams and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have experience with wire crimping or electrical assembly, can measure to exact lengths, and are comfortable with basic hand tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand basic electrical prints or wiring diagrams.
• Experience with wire crimping or electrical assembly preferred.
• Basic soldering experience preferred.
• Ability to measure and cut wire to specified lengths.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Able to follow written instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cut, measure, strip, and prepare electrical wire to specified lengths.
• Crimp terminals, connectors, and wire ends using appropriate hand tools and equipment.
• Perform basic soldering of wires and electrical components.
• Read and follow basic electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Assemble wire harnesses and electrical components according to documented instructions.
• Identify and correctly match wires, terminals, connectors, and components.
• Use basic electrical hand tools, including wire cutters, strippers, crimpers, and soldering equipment.
• Inspect completed wiring and assemblies for proper workmanship, connections, and routing.
• Perform basic continuity or electrical checks as required.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately.
