Job summary

LANCO Integrated is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician in Maine who will wire and build sophisticated automation systems. The role requires travel to customer sites and may involve multiple shifts depending on project needs.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of hands-on electrical assembly experience, an associate degree in an electrical field or equivalent, and the ability to read electrical schematics.

• 3–5 years of hands-on electrical assembly and wiring experience in manufacturing or automation environments.
• Associate’s degree in an electrical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering documents.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire custom electrical control assemblies from engineering drawings – PLC cabinets, HMI enclosures, and more.
• Mount, wire, and integrate motors, sensors, controllers, and other components into automated systems.
• Complete system-wide power and control wiring, including transformers and power distribution elements.
• Review and communicate design changes with the Controls Design team and Supervisors.
• Support Machine Project Leaders during system setup and cycling to ensure equipment functions as designed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical hardware issues; assist programmers with device configuration and testing.
• Mentor and support Electrical Technician I team members.
• Travel to customer sites to support equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Complete ISO-compliant documentation, MQPs, and checklists with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Apply 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement practices in daily work.
• Support mechanical assembly tasks when needed to keep production on track.
