This company are a specialist in bespoke automation, building custom machinery from the ground up for a wide range of customers. They invest in developing their technicians, with a close-knit team of engineers on hand to support you as you grow.

This role combines hands-on building with the variety of travel. You’ll spend the majority of your time on-site, building and troubleshooting custom automation equipment from the ground up, then travel occasionally to customer sites across the U.S. You’ll have a consistent schedule, and when you travel, you’ll receive gas reimbursement, excellent daily per diem, and full coverage of flights, hotels, and rental cars.

This role would suit an Assembly Technician or Control Panel Builder looking for an exciting 1 st shift role with regular overtime, extensive training, and progression towards Control Technician.

The Role:

• Wiring control panels, routing wires and completing mechanical assemblies on custom automation equipment, such as high-speed labellers
• Travelling to customer (locally and internationally) to install and troubleshoot machines
• PLC training with progression to Automation & Controls Engineer

The Candidate:

• Electrical and mechanical assembly experience, including panel wiring and wire routing
• Background as a Maintenance Technician, Control Panel Builder or Production Line Maintenance Tech
• Ready to travel to customer sites both locally and internationally
