Job summary

Saber Power Services, LLC in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an Assembly Technician to support the assembly, QC, and shipment of electrical components and systems. This hands-on role requires basic tool knowledge and a keen eye for detail.

The position entails following work orders, operating hand and power tools, safe forklift use, and timely task completion in a busy shop environment. Strong safety focus and readiness for varied duties are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of hand/power tools.
• Ability to read and follow work orders or assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools.
• Perform quality checks and document QC results.
• Safely operate forklifts and other shop equipment.
• Assist with shipping, receiving and local deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE.
• Support preventive maintenance and shop organization.
• Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned.
