Job summary

IES Infrastructure in Calera, AL seeks an Assembly Technician I for first shift (6am-3pm). You will assemble switchboard components, read blueprints, wire components, and perform tests to ensure quality.

You will use hand and power tools, follow safety procedures, and work with teammates to meet production goals. A strong attention to detail and ability to follow schematics is essential.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine component layouts.
• Performs wiring and assembly of switchboard components per specifications.
• Maintains quality checks and ensures compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchboard components, including circuit breakers and control panels.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Wire electrical components according to specifications.
• Perform quality checks and testing for functionality.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete assigned duties within goal hours.
