Texwrap is excited to have an Electrical Assembly Technician join our team! In this role, you’ll build control panels, install field wiring, and troubleshoot systems to manufacture automated packaging line equipment and systems. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing company in a thriving industry.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Reading electrical drawings, understanding low and high-voltage circuits, and practicing safety.
  2. Building electrical control panels based on engineering drawings, including wiring and component installation.
  3. Terminating all wires back to panels or junction boxes.
  4. Installing field wiring for sensors, cameras, safety circuits, etc.
  5. Troubleshooting electrical systems using appropriate tools.
  6. Redlining electrical prints to document and correct errors.
  7. Maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.
  8. Performing additional duties as assigned, including mechanical assembly as needed.
Qualifications:
  1. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  2. Knowledge of electrical safety practices.
  3. Experience with AC motors, motor starters, disconnects, and PLC wiring.
  4. Ability to work with hand tools and lift parts up to 50 pounds.
  5. Strong communication, organizational skills, and a team-player attitude.
  6. Proficiency with basic computer skills and understanding of bills of materials.
