Associated Staffing Inc. in Kearney, Nebraska, is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician for a four‑day workweek (Mon–Thu, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM).

The position offers competitive pay ($21.00–$28.00 per hour) and the chance to assemble, wire and test electrical systems used in grain drying equipment in a hands‑on environment. Experience is preferred but not required; training is available for dependable individuals with strong mechanical abilities.

Qualifications

• Electrical wiring or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality and a consistent work history.
• Ability to follow instructions, learn new processes and retain training.
• Comfortable working with tools and performing hands-on assembly tasks.
• HVAC or PLC experience is a plus but not required.
• No electrical license required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels and components.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Test electrical equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Use hand tools and equipment to complete assembly tasks.
• Track production time and quantities for work orders.
• Operate forklifts to move materials and components.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Follow established safety and quality procedures.
