The Reserves Network is hiring an Assembly Technician in Blair, NE for a contract role at $19 per hour. The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with weekly pay and benefits eligibility through The Reserves Network.

The ideal candidate will assemble electromechanical devices, read schematics, and ensure quality in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include crimping, soldering, and part assembly, with emphasis on safety and process adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production or warehouse environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics and use basic hand tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and ability to multitask effectively.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and accessing digital instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electromechanical components using crimping, soldering, and potting equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
• Inspect finished products and monitor quality, reporting any issues.
• Assist with order fulfillment including pulling, packing, and inventory tracking.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to standard cycle times.

The Assembly Technician functions as part of an operations team focused on crimping and assembling electromechanical devices. This role operates in a fast-paced environment requiring the ability to work independently after training while maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities include reading schematics and blueprints, operating assembly equipment, and ensuring finished products meet specifications.
