Job summary

nVent is seeking an Assembly Operator to assemble electrical fastening products and components following drawings and work instructions. You will perform quality checks to ensure parts meet standards and maintain accurate records for inventory and production orders.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety procedures, 5S, and teamwork in a dynamic global environment, with growth opportunities across nVent brands and locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Assembler, preferred.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand instructions in manuals and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fill, kit, prepare, label, or package products per instructions.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to understand bussing requirements.
• Install busbars within switchgear enclosures with proper insulation and grounding.
• Select and move production materials as required.
• Maintain equipment and materials necessary to complete the operation.
• Meet safety, quality, and performance standards to support production schedules.
• Record information on Manufacturing Orders and maintain inventory balances.
• Follow 5S standards and report safety or quality issues to leadership.
• Assist with rotational assignments and continuous improvement activities.
