Job summary

Elemental Brands in Reno, NV is seeking a Machine Operator I to provide hands-on technical expertise to operate production equipment and assemble electronic parts for our low-voltage linear lighting solutions. The schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:30 am–5 pm, with a focus on quality and safety.

You will work with various tooling, follow schematics, test finished goods, and support continuous improvement while maintaining strong teamwork and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent training.
• At least 1 year in manufacturing or distribution, QA, or assembly.
• MS Office (Word, Excel) and Fishbowl Inventory a plus.
• Excellent listening and written/verbal communication.
• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail; self-driven and independent.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery in designated work centers.
• Assemble, test, and modify prototypes or parts, including soldering wires.
• Check, test, and inspect finished goods before shipment.
• Compare product characteristics to specifications to identify defects; ensure proper wiring color match.
• Conduct tests on electrical function, reliability, and packaging quality.
• Use hand tools like soldering iron, heat gun, and wire stripper.
• Maintain safety and compliance with regulations.
• Organize, stock, and issue supplies.
• Foster positive teamwork with Elemental staff.
