Job summary

Hennig in Illinois is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. You will assemble, repair, and rework assemblies, read blueprints, and perform wiring tasks including 480V and 240V systems to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for the shift, and passing pre-employment drug screening and background checks. Prior experience is preferred. Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as an electrical technician or in a closely related role.

• Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screening and a background check.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, repair, and rework assemblies efficiently while producing accurate, high-quality output.
  
• Operate power tools, hand tools, measuring devices, and instrumentation required for assembly operations, including but not limited to: installing conduit; wiring switches and receptacles; AC/DC wiring; labeling and terminating wires; and performing 480V and 240V wiring.
  
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, tape measures, and other written instructions or procedures.
  
• Perform troubleshooting and inspection of mechanical equipment in accordance with established inspection procedures and guidelines.
  
• Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality standards and meeting on-time delivery requirements.
  
• Support all areas of the production floor as needed to meet operational demands.

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an electrical technician or in a closely related role.
