Job summary

Surestaff is immediately hiring an Electrical Assembly Associate in Carol Stream, IL. You will participate in assembling, packaging, and preparing batteries for shipment, while following SOPs and quality procedures.

The role requires hand and power tool experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to stand and lift up to 40 lbs. This temp-to-hire position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is required.
• Experience with hand and power tools is required.
• Experience with electrical components is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow SOPs are required.

Responsibilities

• Unwrap, unload, and load batteries into cabinets to prepare orders.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions for manufacturing quality products.
• Record meter readings, including voltage, to ensure standards.
• Inspect materials visually before and after assembly and document results.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and hardware carts.
• Produce assemblies within standard lead time and cycle counts.

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring** Electrical Assembly Associates** for a large, well-known client in **Carol Stream, IL **. As an ** Electrical Assembly Associate** , you will be an essential part of our client’s core operations, ensuring that quality product is produced, assembled, packaged, and ready for delivery to the end customer. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All** Temp-to-Hire** employees are offered competitive compensation $19.50/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include 1st : 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday **Responsibilities of the Electrical Assembly Associate **:• Unwrapping, unloading, and loading batteries into cabinets to prepare orders for shipment • Follow and understand all Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and procedures related to manufacturing of quality products.• Comply with quality procedures including calibrated tools, preventative maintenance tools, perishable materials and handling of defective materials.• Accurately record meter readings including voltage to ensure compliance with standards.• Produce work safely and efficiently while meeting all quality standards• Produce assemblies within standard lead time per workbench and clocking’s.• Visual inspection of material before and after assembly, including video and photos.• Maintain a clean and organized work area per housekeeping standards, including tool carts.
