Job summary

Server Products is seeking an Assembly Technician in Wisconsin to assemble finished products and subassemblies, following SOPs, blueprints, and the Product Structure list to meet customer specifications.

You will log labor hours and production data in the ERP, support continuous improvement, and work in a fast-paced team environment while complying with 5S practices and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and solid math/reasoning abilities.
• Effective verbal communication and collaboration with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Completes work by following SOPs, blueprint specs, and the Product Structure list, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and subassemblies according to blueprints, using fixtures or templates as needed.
• Maintains equipment by keeping it clean and reporting malfunctions or repairs.
• Performs wiring and assembly operations on various electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Cuts, forms, connects, and terminates wiring per instructions or prototypes.
• Performs necessary calibrations to adjust units per documented procedures.
• Adheres to 5S practices to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Records actions by filling out production and quality forms.
• Logs labor hours, production amounts, inventory changes, and scrap in the ERP system.
• Responsible for meeting production and quality goals.
• Performs other duties as required.
