Job summary

nVent in Fulton, MO is seeking an Electrical Assembler to build electrical systems and support structures for critical applications. You will read work orders and schematics, connect wiring, measure and cut wires, and ensure finished products meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include packaging, shipping prep, and material handling while maintaining a safe, clean work area. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, experience with hand tools, and a strong mechanical aptitude

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with hand tools in manufacturing or assembly.
• Ability to read and follow procedures and wiring diagrams.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and electronic systems, panels, and support structures according to specifications.
• Read and interpret work orders, schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of material to complete assemblies accurately.
• Connect electrical wiring between components following wiring prints and specification requirements.
• Measure, cut, route, and terminate wire to precise lengths and standards.
• Inspect, adjust, repair, or replace components to ensure finished products meet quality specifications.
• Mark and tag components to support inventory tracking and product traceability.
• Prepare finished products for shipment, including packaging, touch-up work, and final inspections.
• Assist with loading products and moving materials as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition and report any issues.
• Follow all safety policies, quality standards, and work instructions, and keep the work area clean and organized.
