Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of circuit components and operation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• General knowledge of basic electricity.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

Aufgaben

• Assemble electrical and pneumatic components such as switches, relays, terminal blocks, wiring, air gauges, air lines, fittings, etc., into electrical sub-assemblies such as control panels, printed circuit boards, counters, harnesses, registry boxes, etc.
• Assemble various components per engineering drawings by using schematics, point to point drawings and diagrams.
• Inspect components prior to assembly for visual defects and damages.
• Rework component if defect or damage is minor.
• Inspect and test sub-assemblies, after assembly, for proper electrical and pneumatic operation using test fixtures, where applicable.
• Troubleshoot sub-assemblies using schematics to locate wiring errors or defective components
• Assist engineering department in redesigning and building sub-assemblies for prototype presses
