Job summary

Cooper Lighting Solutions in Hicksville, NY, is hiring an Electrical Assembler-General Helper to support assembly, wiring, inspection, testing and packaging of light fixtures on an efficient line or at a workbench.

You will enter complete work order information, perform quality checks, follow safety rules, and collaborate with team members in a fast-paced, unionized environment. Starting rate is $17.54 per hour with IBEW Local 3.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal English.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Enter complete and accurate work order information as required.
• Assemble, wire, inspect, test and package fixtures on an assembly line or bench.
• Perform quality checks per inspection plans.
• Collaborate with teammates in a team-based environment.
• Follow health and safety procedures and rules.
