Job summary

Signify’s Cooper Lighting Solutions unit in Aurora, CO is hiring an Assembler III. The role involves assembling, wiring, testing, inspecting, and packing lighting fixtures on an assembly line or workbench, with a focus on quality and safety.

You will enter work orders accurately, perform quality checks, maintain clean work areas, and follow 5S+ practices. Must lift up to 40 lbs and work up to 12 hours per shift. This is an on-site, full-time hourly position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach forward and stand for up to 12 hours.
• Ability to regularly lift 40 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to use hand and power tools as required.
• Ability to see fine details and distinguish between colors.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, inspect, test and package fixtures via an assembly line or workbench process efficiently without quality defects.
• Enter complete and accurate work order information as required.
• Perform quality checks consistent with the inspection and control plans.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain the 5S+ Check sheet (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
• Bring health and safety issues, unsafe acts and safety suggestions to management's attention.
