Job summary

Aerotek is hiring an Electrical Assembler in Anoka, MN. This role focuses on electrical wiring and assembly of custom refrigeration houses, with team-based production in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will read blueprints and schematics, route wiring, install lights and fans, and contribute to both electrical and mechanical assembly. On-site, using hand and power tools, with physical requirements and steady work flow.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical wiring in manufacturing or construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Hands-on electrical assembly and wiring of components and systems.
• Ability to perform panel wiring and follow schematic diagrams.
• Comfort using hand tools and power tools for electrical and mechanical tasks.
• Physical ability to stand 8+ hours daily.
• Ability to regularly lift 20+ pounds and up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent standing, sitting, bending and reaching during the day.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical assembly of custom refrigeration houses and related units.
• Run and route electrical wiring to complete the assembly of refrigeration systems.
• Install and wire lights, ceiling fans, and other electrical components as requested by customers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics to guide assembly work.
• Collaborate with team members to determine wiring layouts when prints or schematics are unavailable.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical and mechanical assemblies.
• Perform mechanical assembly tasks as needed to support the overall build of each unit.
• Work in teams of 3–4 people to build units efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow quality and safety procedures while performing electrical wiring and mechanical assembly.
• Stand for extended periods and perform regular lifting, bending, reaching and other physical tasks.
