Job summary

Novanta Inc. is seeking an Assembler I to join the Robotics & Automation family in Apex, NC. You will assemble and test components to create finished products, collaborating with the team to ensure quality, efficiency, and safe production processes.

You will read assembly instructions and schematics, operate production equipment, and identify defects to sustain high-quality output. This role emphasizes precision, teamwork, and adherence to established procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to solder small gauge wire.
  • Capable of using magnifying devices to assemble and solder small assemblies.
  • May rotate stations in a work cell.
  • Experience in assembly, testing, and operating machinery in manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical abilities and a high level of precision.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions with basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
