Job Description:

Come join Barry-Wehmiller Filling and Closing, part of the Barry-Wehmiller Packaging family of businesses. BWFC is looking for a talented Electrical Assembler who will join our 1st shift team at our Akron, Ohio facility.

We are seeking a positive and reliable candidate able to join a team that takes pride in building high-quality, industry-leading packaging systems for some of the largest food, beverage, personal care, and pharmaceutical brands in the world! We offer outstanding hands-on training provided by an onsite mentor who will support and encourage you to succeed.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Principal Activities & Responsibilities:

1. Plan and perform a range of operations connected with the assembly and erection of company-produced machines.
2. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
3. Drilling, tapping, mounting, and routing wires and cable assemblies on mechanical/electrical structures.
4. Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
5. Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Basic Electrical Fundamentals knowledge and experience
• Multimeter knowledge and experience
• Electrical Schematic Interpretation skills

Preferred:

• Experience in a manufacturing setting
