Job summary

ISC Constructors, L.L.C. is seeking an Experienced Electrical Apprentice to support Journeymen and Craftsmen in electrical installations across our facilities. The role involves conduit installation (rigid, aluminum, plasti-bond, PVC), learning to operate conduit benders, and assisting with cable tray installations.

You will work on safety-focused tasks with a team of skilled professionals. Applicants should have at least 1 year of electrical apprentice experience, be able to pass background

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year electrical apprentice experience.
• Ability to pass post-offer background checks and pre-employment drug test.
• Willingness to learn and assist Journeyman and Craftsmen.
• Must follow safety rules and maintain accurate workmanship.
• Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman and Craftsmen in installing conduit (rigid, aluminum, plasti-bond, PVC).
• Learn and use conduit benders (mechanical, electric, hydraulic).
• Fabricate and install conduit supports.
• Assist in installing cable tray and tube tray.
• Install wire and cable by hand or by machine in tray and conduit.
• Assist in installing air pipe and instrument tubing with various hand tools.
• Follow safety rules and maintain accuracy in workmanship.
• Carry out housekeeping and demolition tasks; assist in maintenance and construction.
• Willing to perform other duties as assigned.

The Position:

We are looking for positive, energetic Experienced Electrical Apprentices with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce.

Applicants should have the ability to:

• Be able to assist Journeyman and Craftsmen in the installation of rigid, aluminum, plasti-bond, and PVC conduit
• Be able to use or willing to learn to use mechanical, electric, and hydraulic conduit benders
• Be able to fabricate and install conduit supports
• Be able to assist in the installation of cable tray and tube tray
• Be able to install wire and cable by hand and by machine in cable tray and in conduit
• Be able to assist in the installation of air pipe and instrument tubing; to utilize a variety of electric and hydraulic hand tools and pneumatic tools
• Have knowledge of applicable safety rules
• Must be able to follow specific directions and work within the standards of accuracy.
• Must be capable of maintaining proper housekeeping, and able to carry out work requirements of demolition, handling trash, and assisting in maintenance and construction
• Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned
• Minimum of 1 year electrical apprentice experience
• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
