High 5 Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to assist licensed electricians with residential electrical installations in new construction and remodels. This role emphasizes hands-on training and safety, helping you develop the skills to become a licensed electrician.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of Electrical experience.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Ability to work in crawl spaces, attics, and confined areas.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with residential electrical installations.
• Help install electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, smoke detectors, breakers, and electrical panels.
• Pull wire, drill holes, mount boxes, bend conduit, and prepare materials for installation.
• Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials needed for each job.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site before, during, and after installations.
• Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable electrical codes.
• Learn proper installation techniques and industry best practices under supervision.
• Accurately measure, cut, and prepare materials for installation.
• Assist with testing and verifying completed installations.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members on site.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Attend company meetings, training sessions, and apprenticeship classes.
