Job summary

Southern Home Services in the United States is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems under the guidance of experienced electricians.

You will learn hands-on techniques, follow safety protocols, and troubleshoot issues while developing practical skills for a career in residential electrical services. We offer weekly pay, ample training, a supportive team, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience (no learner’s permit).
• Positive attitude and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent customer service and communication at all levels.
• Adaptability, flexibility and teamwork.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking.
• Basic PC skills; MS Office, mobile devices, and email.
• Ability to read and write effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing electrical systems by wiring service panels, and installing switches, outlets, light fixtures, ceiling fans, and generator systems.
• Work in hot, cold, and confined spaces while following safety protocols.
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials from trucks; keep workspace organized and ready for use.
• Demonstrate punctuality, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
• Learn electrical techniques under supervision to develop skills and knowledge in the trade.
• Other duties as assigned.
