Job summary

American Rheinmetall is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and industrial equipment under the guidance of licensed electricians.

You will assist with troubleshooting, read schematics, and perform preventative maintenance while following safety protocols and company policies to contribute to efficient plant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrollment in or willingness to start an accredited electrical apprenticeship program.
• Previous experience in a mechanical, maintenance, or industrial setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems under supervision.
• Support troubleshooting of motors, control panels, drives, PLCs, and automation systems.
• Perform routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance on electrical components.
• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Document maintenance activities and updates following company procedures.
• Follow all safety guidelines and PPE usage.
