Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Electrician for our North American operations in Ohio. You will perform electrical and maintenance processes to install, repair and preventively maintain plant equipment in a manufacturing setting, while following safety rules and reporting to Plant Supervisors.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree in electrical/electronics, can work independently, and is comfortable with PLC/PC control systems.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in the electrical or electronics field or equivalent training.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must have knowledge to proficiently utilize PLC/PC’s.
• Willingness to work overtime and respond to call-in.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills are required (English)
• Electrical and mechanical skills are required

Responsibilities

• Safely perform electrical repairs and installations within a manufacturing setting.
• Understand and comply with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies.
• Plan jobs and document electrical installations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Work in a team or independently as required.
