Job summary

Ace Electric, Inc. is seeking an Apprentice Electrician Helper to support electricians on-site, assisting with installation and material handling under direct supervision. The role emphasizes safety, organization, and learning key electrical tasks.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, preferably OSHA 10, CPR, and First Aid trained, with a valid state driver’s license preferred. Expect varied weather conditions, overtime, and hands-on training opportunities.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 Hour, CPR, and First Aid trained.
• Able to maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Able to maintain high levels of productivity, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Must be an effective and professional communicator.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians by performing tasks under the direct supervision of an electrician actually installing the work and handling the bulk of materials.
• Keep all materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly fashion and the work area clean at all times.
• Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment.
• Learn and assist with: basic blueprint knowledge, layout from field sketches, panel terminations, conduit sizing, transformer terminations, motor terminations, underground conduit installation, conduit and box installation in CMU blocks, wire terminations in J-Box, pull wire feeder/branch/low-voltage, operate equipment (training provided).
• Assist in keeping fluid levels checked and greased in all equipment and vehicles.
