Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electrician Apprentice to assist in installing and maintaining electrical equipment per plans and codes. This role requires physical work outdoors, safe handling of materials, and adherence to project timelines.

The position involves climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and flexible hours including possible overtime. Strong reliability and a valid driver’s license are essential for site access and transportation to job locations.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required (0+ months of experience).
Reliable transportation is necessary.
Must pass a background check and drug test.
Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Overtime may be mandatory and include night/weekend work.
Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, conduit, and equipment according to blueprints and plans.
Installing and mounting electronic controls, panels, sensors, and components.
Performing interlock wiring as required and testing electrical systems.
Diagnosing malfunctions and locating causes of failures using test equipment and hand tools.
Reading contract drawings and ensuring compliance with specifications.
Troubleshooting EMS systems, smart breakers, and relays.
