Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with residential and/or commercial electrical installations and repairs.
• Carry tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to and from work areas.
• Assist with pulling wire, installing conduit, mounting electrical boxes, and other basic electrical tasks under supervision.
• Help prepare and clean work areas before, during, and after jobs.
• Safely use basic hand tools and power tools as directed.
• Follow instructions from electricians, supervisors, and project leads.
• Follow company safety policies, jobsite procedures, and applicable electrical safety requirements.
• Properly use and maintain PPE.
• Keep company vehicles, tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, customers, contractors, and other trades.
• Attend required safety meetings, training, and apprenticeship‑related instruction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Electrical Apprentice / Helper

Position Summary

The Electrical Apprentice/Helper assists licensed electricians and experienced electrical technicians with the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. This is an entry‑level position designed for individuals who are interested in learning the electrical trade while gaining hands‑on experience in the field.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Assist electricians with residential and/or commercial electrical installations and repairs.
2. Carry tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to and from work areas.
3. Assist with pulling wire, installing conduit, mounting electrical boxes, and other basic electrical tasks under supervision.
4. Help prepare and clean work areas before, during, and after jobs.

Physical Requirements

3. Ability to work on ladders and in confined spaces when required.
4. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions.
5. Ability to safely perform the physical duties required of the position.
