Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking an Industrial Fire Alarm Helper to join our team of over 1,100 fire protection professionals. This position is based in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with the installation, service, repair, and maintenance of fire alarm systems under supervision.
• Help diagnose and troubleshoot industrial fire protection systems during inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers, contractors, vendors, and colleagues.
• Work may require overtime, nights, weekends, and on-call hours.

Requirements:

• Experience with installing conduit (EMT and Rigid) preferred.
• Training or education in alarm systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Work primarily in industrial and commercial locations.
• Willing to obtain applicable state licenses.
• Driver’s license preferred.
• Must pass government, federal, and customs background checks.
