Job summary

B&B is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to assist licensed electricians with residential installations, repairs and service work. You will learn to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems and help install wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, and panels.

This paid apprenticeship offers on-the-job training, safety instruction, and clear career progression from Apprentice to Journeyman Electrician. Earn $18–$22 per hour with opportunities for wage increases as skills grow and overtime

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of apprentice experience.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety standards.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with residential electrical installations, repairs, and service work.

Compensation

• $18-$22 per hour, based on experience

What You'll Do

• Assist licensed electricians with residential electrical installations, repairs, and service work
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems and components

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 3 years or more of apprentice experience
• Previous construction, electrical, or trade experience is a plus but not required
• Strong desire to learn and build a career in the electrical industry
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Basic computer and smartphone skills

Physical Capabilities

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Work in attics, crawl spaces, basements, and other confined areas
• Stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods
• Work safely in various outdoor weather conditions
• Use hand and power tools requiring manual dexterity
