Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sites.
• Assist in preparing sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follow blueprints, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before the completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring.
• Assist in measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing an electrical conduit.
• Participates in wire installation with conduit and cable trays.
• Perform other routine duties as directed by workplace leader.
• Avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and electrical codes.
• Help to connect power cables to equipment, such as motor, and installs grounding leads.
• Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocations, or replacement.
• Perform additional duties as directed by foreman or project manager.
