Job Brief:

The Electrician Apprentice Field Technician will work with and learn from Journeyman Electrician Field Technicians and other apprentices. You will learn practical skills and test, calibrate, install, repair, and inspect manufacturing equipment and monitoring devices.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications
• Pull wire through conduits, holes, and splice, join, and connect wire to form circuits
• Assist with installing, replacing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems/equipment
• Test circuits to ensure integrity and safety
• Participate in and comply with company safety programs and policies
• Provide on-call support as required
• Perform other duties as required

Skills & Qualifications:

• Registered Apprentice
• High School Diploma
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol test (required for safety-sensitive roles)
• Completion of a criminal background check, with results assessed based on relevance
• Verification of a clean driving record, as per company standards
