Job summary

IES Residential, Inc. is hiring Electrical Apprentices for our Multifamily Division in Columbus, OH. You will assist licensed electricians on multifamily construction projects and gain hands-on training.

This paid training program offers mentorship, safety instruction, and clear career advancement within a growing company. Candidates should have reliable transportation and a strong work ethic; some construction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn a skilled trade.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to follow directions and safety procedures
• Previous electrical or construction experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Pull wire, install boxes, conduit, devices, and lighting fixtures
• Learn to read blueprints, layouts, and job specifications
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites

• Participate in hands-on training and development opportunities
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work overhead throughout the day
• Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and elevated surfaces
• Ability to work in active construction environments and varying weather conditions
