LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization to hire an Electrical Applications Engineer. This role combines hardware, software, and customer-facing engineering support to drive innovative product development.

You will design and develop products from concept to completion, provide technical guidance to external teams, create practical documentation, and train internal groups on new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and strong electronics theory.
• Experience reading schematics and building prototypes (soldering, breadboarding).
• Proficiency in C/C++ with embedded systems knowledge and microcontrollers.

Responsibilities

• Drive product design and development from concept to completion.
• Provide hardware/software guidance to external teams via multiple channels.
• Create user-friendly technical materials like tutorials and application notes.
• Maintain schematics, datasheets and user guides.

Job description

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Electrical Applications Engineer to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects that span hardware, software, and customer-facing engineering support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Design & Development: Drive new and existing product designs from concept to completion.
• Technical Support: Collaborate with external engineering teams to provide hardware/software guidance via email, phone, and in-person.
• Resource Creation: Develop user-friendly technical materials such as tutorials, test code, and application notes.
• Documentation: Maintain and update schematics, datasheets, and user guides.
• Cross-functional Training: Support internal teams (sales, marketing, distribution) with product training and technical insights.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong grasp of electronics theory.
• Proficiency in C++, C, or similar programming languages.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers (PIC, ATMEL, ARM, etc.).
• Familiarity with electronic peripherals (I²C, SPI, USB, GPIO, SD Card).
• Experience with display technologies such as OLED or LCD.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read schematics and build prototypes (soldering, breadboarding).
• Debugging and troubleshooting skills for PCBs and electronic systems.

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $110,000
