Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Roving E&I Technician to support the East Region Hubs, delivering advanced electrical and instrumentation expertise for high‑voltage systems, controls, and instrumentation to reduce reactive maintenance and boost plant reliability.

You will lead safety culture on site, troubleshoot switchgear, MCCs, motors and turbines, and perform predictive maintenance while coordinating with multi-site teams. A 15% premium applies to base compensation with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a TTF or heavy industrial power plant environment with strong E&I and high-voltage experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical or apprenticeship background preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls.
  • Experience with CMMS/ALM systems and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to travel within a 45-minute radius of the assigned hub.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills across multiple site environments.
  • Lean training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including switchgear (120V–13.8kV), MCCs, motors, and turbine generators.
  • Calibrate and maintain instrumentation (flow, pressure, temperature, level) and ensure CEMS reliability and compliance.
  • Support and troubleshoot DCS and related control systems to ensure reliable plant operation and data integrity.
  • Perform predictive maintenance activities (thermography, vibration, ultrasonic testing, calibrations) to prevent failures.
  • Respond to critical outages and emergency events within the regional hub network.
  • Execute work aligned with the Work Week schedule and ensure consistent standards across sites.
  • Apply multi-craft skills to improve efficiency and reduce rework.
  • Support root cause analysis and reliability improvements.
  • Maintain accurate CMMS/ALM documentation to support asset health tracking.
  • Apply Lean principles to eliminate waste and support continuous improvement initiatives.

About The Role

Job Description

The Roving E&I Technician is a key member of the Technical Elite field team, providing advanced electrical and instrumentation support across the East Region Hubs. This role is critical to ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient electrical and instrumentation performance across the regional hub network.

Employees in this role will receive a 15% premium applied to their base compensation

Pay Transparency

The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $73,807.00 - $101,445.00
