Zen Sherpa LLC in Wisconsin is seeking an Electrical & Control Systems Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for plant electrical systems, automation, instrumentation, and controls.

This role drives reliability, modernization, and safe operation across multiple production areas, overseeing engineering design, capital project management, and compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, ISA, and IEEE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years in electrical, automation, or control systems engineering
• 3+ years of engineering leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, MCCs, VFDs, and instrumentation
• Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and industrial networks
• Proven success leading engineering teams and projects

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop electrical, controls, and automation engineering staff.
• Oversee electrical distribution, motor control, instrumentation, and automation systems.
• Direct PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and industrial network architecture.
• Approve engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Manage capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and control system issues.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, ISA, IEEE standards.
• Coordinate contractors, integrators, and equipment suppliers.
• Support reliability improvements, root‑cause analysis, and change management.
