This position offers a hybrid schedule of in-office days and remote work.
- This role provides an opportunity to utilize and expand your academic background in Power Systems to support interdisciplinary project teams with power system modeling and analysis. Responsibilities include supporting the interconnection of new power generation resources—such as onshore and offshore wind, solar PV, battery energy storage, and traditional thermal generation—as well as transmission and distribution planning, designing new power plants (thermal and renewable), modifying existing facilities, power system protection, and integrating new technologies like electric vehicles, microgrids, and green hydrogen production.

- Power Quality and Harmonics
- System Impact
- Cable Ampacity
- Grounding
Additional tasks involve electricity market studies and generation planning expansion considering load growth scenarios.Travel to client offices and project sites for on-site consultation may be required.Qualifications

Essential skills and experience include:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems; an MSEE or Ph.D. is preferred.
- Practical understanding of electrical engineering principles, systems, and project design application.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to guide others.
Valued but not required skills include:
- Internship or work experience in power analysis within the industry.
- Experience with software such as PSS/E, PowerWorld, PSLF, TARA, CYME, Synergi, ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, EMTP-RV.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.
- Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and being an Engineer in Training.
