Job summary

Archer is seeking a Flight Test Engineer to support Development, Company, and FAA Certification Ground and Flight test plans. You will interface with engineers, maintainers, technicians, and program management to accomplish test objectives safely and efficiently, and contribute to test readiness reviews and test reports.

Requirements include 5+ years in developmental flight test, a ABET-accredited Aerospace or Mechanical engineering degree, willingness to travel 25% within 100 miles of the SF

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in developmental flight test.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of Development, Company, and FAA Certification Ground and Flight test plans.
• Interface with engineers, maintainers, technicians, and program management to accomplish test objectives safely and efficiently.
• Contribute to the production of Company/Certification reports.
• Prepare test material in support of test readiness reviews.
• Provide support for test events as a flight test engineer and/or test conductor onboard aircraft and in the control room.
• Participate in flight briefs and debriefs for test events.
