Job summary

Mesa Associates, Inc. seeks a Project Manager (remote/client site) to lead and coordinate utility project efforts with a hybrid/remote schedule within 2 hours of Merrillville, IN.

You will supervise engineers and project managers during design phases and interface with clients, vendors, and other electric utilities personnel. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and familiarity with PMI standards.

Qualifications

• Electric utility experience required.
• Supervise engineers and project managers in design phase of utility projects.
• Strong verbal and written communications.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, engineers, and electric utilities personnel.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and peers.
• Familiarity with PMI standards including that for Organizational Project Management (OPM).

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate multiple project efforts in a programmatic way.
• Provide leadership to an existing team to achieve objectives.
• Communicate with client stakeholders regularly and report issues affecting project execution across management areas.
