Entry can begin as an Energy Technician Helper with opportunities to advance to Energy Technician I and II based on experience, training, and performance; CDL readiness and safety are prioritized in the selection process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL readiness to obtain CDL.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground distribution systems.
• Build and maintain power lines, equipment, and electrical facilities.
• Restore electric service and troubleshoot outages.
• Operate and maintain utility vehicles, tools, and heavy equipment.
• Read meters and support field operations.
