Job summary

Peace River Electric Cooperative, Inc. is seeking applicants for available opportunities. The role involves preparing work orders, staking sheets, maps and sketches, and processing new service requests in collaboration with Engineering and customers.

Proficiency with Word, Excel, Access, AutoCAD, Milsoft, and related tools is preferred. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and an associate’s degree or applicable experience; ability to work outdoors, in a team, and under time

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Associate’s Degree and/or experience and job knowledge.
Must be able to sit/stand for prolonged periods.
Advanced typing, word processing, and/or computer skills.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver license and operate a motor vehicle.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Prepare work orders, staking sheets, maps and sketches from information provided.
Coordinate appointments between Engineering personnel and customers.
Process new service requests and related department functions.
Maintain records and easements, and update maps from completed jobs.
Assist with cost estimates and invoicing related to job activity.
Support CAC returns record keeping and project documentation.
Ensure compliance with National Electric Safety Code and RUS specs.
