Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Florida CDL with P and S endorsements required.
• Must meet FDOE/MDCPS standards including 40-hour training, DOT physical, drug/alcohol screen, background check, and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus per state, federal, and district regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow routes and schedules with safe driving speeds and conditions.
• Load, unload and seat students safely, including those with disabilities.
• Maintain records and communicate with Transportation Coordinator.
• Participate in safety meetings and training.
