Asplundh Careers is seeking an Apprentice Lineperson to assist with installation, operation, maintenance and repair of overhead and underground electrical lines. The role involves training on the job and classroom instruction, with exposure to emergency calls and field service.

The position requires climbing poles, working at heights, and long or irregular hours including holidays. A valid CDL and physical stamina are essential for routine duties and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Attends to service calls concerning power outages and electrical problems.
• Receives training both in book/classroom skills and on the job skills.
• Operates motorized equipment, use hand tools, and perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment, machinery, and tools.
• Stocks and services vehicles to be equipped to respond to emergency situations.
• Responds to emergency calls.
