Carter Machinery Co. Inc. in Elkridge, MD is seeking an Electric Power Generation (EPG) Service Supervisor to lead the service team and ensure top-tier customer service.

The role requires leadership experience, mechanical aptitude, and strong technical knowledge of diesel engines and generators. The supervisor will organize tasks, coach staff, and manage work orders while maintaining safety standards and delivering reliable support to customers.

Job Title: Electric Power Generation (EPG) Service Supervisor

Location: Elkridge, Maryland

Starting Compensation Range: $79,000 - $101,000 per year

The EPG Service Supervisor is responsible for serving as a team leader, ensuring the successful operation of the department and meeting customers' needs at the highest level. The individual in this position will organize, communicate, and delegate responsibilities, while setting priorities, coaching employees as needed and providing technical expertise.

Seeking Candidates with:

• Previous experience in service operations and comprehensive knowledge of diesel engines and generators
• College/technical degree, or comparable industry experience, preferred

• Required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
• Frequently required to sit
• Regularly lift and/or more up to 70 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
