Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a pallet jack operator to move combos and pallets within the plant. This role requires obtaining a pallet jack certification and mastering operation of a hand-held scanner.

You will work on the 1st shift in the United States, with overtime as needed, and be part of a safety-focused team in a meat processing environment. Responsibilities include transporting pallets with an electric jack, weighing products, scanning bar codes, completing trailer audits, reconciling

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Meat processing facility experience preferred.
• Experience operating an electric pallet jack preferred.
• Must communicate effectively.
• Willingness to function as part of a team and complete overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transport and stack combos or pallets using an electric pallet jack.
• Weigh the combos containing product.
• Scan bar codes with hand-held scanner.
• Fill out trailer audit forms.
• Reconcile Bills of Ladings/Inventory.
• Load trailers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
