Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring a Distribution Pallet Jack Driver for the 1st shift at the Tecumseh, NE facility. The role moves combos and pallets using an electric pallet jack, scans barcodes, weighs loads, and prepares trailers.

Candidates must obtain pallet jack operator certification, work safely in a fast-paced meat processing environment, and be willing to overtime. High school diploma preferred; experience in meat processing and with pallet jacks is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a meat processing facility preferred.
• Experience operating an electric pallet jack preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Transport and stack combos and pallets using an electric pallet jack.
• Weigh the combos containing product.
• Scan bar codes with a hand-held scanner.
• Fill out trailer audit forms and reconcile bills of lading.
• Load trailers and perform other duties as assigned.
