Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Senior Warehouse Associate for our Los Angeles gateway warehouse. This onsite role supports receiving, storage, and shipping of goods, directly impacting on-time deliveries and inventory accuracy.

You will operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts, verify paperwork, and help ensure safety and efficiency in daily operations. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and flexibility in schedule for day shifts.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of warehouse operations experience.
• Experience operating pallets, pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Familiarity with shipping paperwork and warehouse SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, offload, and load vehicles; verify paperwork and report discrepancies.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts as well as riding pallet jacks to move cargo.
• Prepare outbound loads, label freight, and verify counts and damages.
• Sign Bills of Lading accurately and maintain safety and inventory standards.
• Assist with training new staff and support SOP updates.

### Become a Key Player as a Senior Warehouse Associate - Case Picker - Electric Pallet Jack Operator You will support core warehouse operations to ensure accurate receiving, storage, and shipment of goods. Your work directly impacts on-time deliveries and inventory accuracy for the client, partnering with warehouse teammates and shipping/receiving teams. This is an onsite role (day shift) at the Los Angeles gateway warehouse.### Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team- Receive, offload, and load vehicles; check paperwork, weigh/measure shipments, and report discrepancies or damages- Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, riding pallet jacks, and hand jacks to move and palletize cargo - Prepare outbound loads: match paperwork, label freight, and prepare ULDs- Sign off Bills of Lading accurately and verify counts and damages- Stage and organize cargo in a safe, orderly manner and utilize booking in sheets or the Warehouse Management System- Execute quality expectations per SOPs, including rework or recouping freight when required- Perform general housekeeping to maintain cleanliness and inventory organization- Assist with training new staff and support development or revision of SOPs- Perform site-specific duties such as weekly bond checks, DFT/security procedures, and handling bonded import freight as required### Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role- Must be at least 18 years old- Physical stamina and coordination; able to stand/walk for long periods, frequently bend/twist/reach, and periodically lift up to 50 lbs- Minimum 6 months of previous warehouse operations experience- Experience operating pallet jacks (riding) and forklifts- Ability to work flexible hours/days and meet established location performance standards/KPIs### Here's What Else Might Help You Out- High school diploma or GED- Previous external warehouse or freight forwarder experience- Familiarity with Bills of Lading, shipping manifests, and delivery orders- Ability to speak SpanishYou should be proficient in:Warehouse ExperienceElectric Pallet Jack Operator
