Job summary

The Energy Cooperative, headquartered in Newark, Ohio, is seeking a Safety Supervisor, Electric Operations to lead safety programs for our electric operations. The role focuses on developing proactive safety culture, conducting audits, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance across the cooperative's facilities and field operations.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years of safety experience in electric utilities, and knowledge of OSHA 1910.269,

Qualifications

• Experience with safety program development, training and incident investigations.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1910.269, NFPA 70E and arc-flash mitigation.
• Ability to plan safety training, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and insurability to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer comprehensive safety, health and regulatory programs.
• Conduct field audits, inspections and contractor safety oversight.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
• Support emergency action and disaster recovery planning and responses.
