Hi-Speed Industrial Service is seeking an experienced Motor Shop Manager to lead operations at our Little Rock, AR facility. This leader will oversee daily shop activities, manage a skilled technical team, and ensure customer satisfaction while driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on manager with strong mechanical aptitude, proven experience in rotating equipment or related industries, and the ability to balance customer needs with business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5+ technicians and support staff.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching for career growth.
• Foster a positive, safety‑first, and team‑oriented culture.

Operations Management

• Oversee all shop operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and scope.
• Review and approve customer quotations for accuracy and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with EASA AR100, IEEE, and NEMA standards.
• Serve as the primary contact for escalated customer concerns.
• Apply strong problem‑solving skills to resolve issues quickly.
• Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships with transparency and professionalism.

Business & Industry Involvement

• Represent Hi-Speed in local and national industry associations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and revenue growth.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and profitability.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in rotating equipment, motor repair, or a similar industry.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams of 5+.
• Proven track record in customer relationship management and issue resolution.
• Experience preparing and reviewing quotations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
• Experience managing multi‑branch operations with revenues over $500K/month.
• Familiarity with the steel and paper industries.
• Knowledge of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).
